Fight changes – Blue Islands

Blue Island have announced their new premium inter island service, the Blue Shuttle. This service will be operated by their 46 seat ATR aircraft, with one aircraft solely dedicated to servicing the Guernsey to Jersey route, plus an additional aircraft is being acquired to serve as a dedicated ‘back up’ aircraft. This will provide more capacity on the new schedule (published on their website), more options for group travel, better connections for European passengers, plus excellent connections from Guernsey to Bristol which will allow for day return travel.

Flybe to axe all domestic flights from Gatwick

Flybe is to axe all of its Gatwick flights, having sold its arrival and departure slots at the London airport to easyJet for £20 million.
