British Airways increases Fuel Surcharge

British Airways Increases Fuel Surcharge

British Airways announced its second fuel surcharge in two months today. From Tuesday 8th Feb the surcharge will be £12 per sector on World Traveller and World Traveller Plus and £17 per sector on First and Club World.

The Airline blamed the price hike on the 'substantial' increase in the cost of oil this quarter and a 14% rise in the cost of jet fuel. There will however be no increase to the fuel surcharge to British Airways shorthaul services.
