BMI could abandon UK domestic flights from Heathrow

BMI could abandon Heathrow as a hub airport in protest at
BAA's decision to increase landing charges on domestic flights.

It has been reported that the airline could cancel it's domestic services from the airport, instead replacing them with more profitable routles to the Middle East and Africa.

Connections from UK regions, including airports in Glasgow, Edinburgh , Aberdeen & Belfast would would then fly via continental hubs in Europe.
