Air New Zealand introduces lie-flat Skycouch economy seat
Air New Zealand has ordered a new fleet of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft which are due for delivery in November. The new aircarft will feature an innovative Skycouch concept in Economy Class.Skycouch will be available in the first 11 rows of Economy Class. Passengers will be able to buy three adjoining seats at a discounted price and then turn them into one fully flat sleeping area.
The standard Economy Class seat, in the new fleet, has been designed with an enhanced winged headrest,new pillow, fully retractable armreats, in-seat power and USB connections.
