BA - No Shows
With immediate effect British Airways is changing the timescales to the no-show process. Where a passenger no-shows for an outbound sector, British Airways would routinely cancel the associated return sector. This process was until recently invoked on the day after the no-show at around 24 hours. BA will now cancel the return segment within an hour or two of the no-show, to create the best probability of selling the released seat.Where as before it may have been possible to protect travellers seats, due to these new timescales we will no longer be able to do so.
This process applies to all bookings across all classes and fares.
Please advise your travellers of the implications should they not turn up for their flight on time.
