Closure of the transit connecting Gatwick North and South Terminals
From the 28th September it will be necessary to take a bus between terminals at Gatwick Airport. The existing transit will be closed with two new Shuttles coming in to service during May and July 2010.Whilst the work is undertaken, a replacement bus service will operate from the upper forecourt of both terminals every 3 minutes from 04:00 hours until 18:00 hours and every six minutes at night.
The British Airport Authority advises passengers to allow at least 20 minutes for the journey between terminals.
All train services depart from the station at South Terminal so if your flight operates to or from North Terminal, it essential to allow extra time over above the time of the bus journey.
