British Airways Club Europe- wider seats

British Airways is to re-introduce wider seats in its Club Europe Cabin in response to feedback from passengers.

The cabin was reconfigured in February 2009 with narrower seats but BA said it's re-introducing the "same spacious seat width previously offered in Club Europe" with the added benefit that the middle seat is kept free.

The change apllies to all British Airways and Cityflyer operated services, excluding 767 aircraft which currently operate a 2:2:2 configuration in Club Europe.

"Over the last few months we have asked our passengers for their preference on seating and the majority want the wider seats back," said BA head of customer experience, Mark Hassell.

He said Club Europe passengers would also continue to be guaranteed a window or aisle seat as well as a dedicated Club check in area, generous baggage allownace, complimentary dining and drinks, Club lounge access and fast track immigration through Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport.
