New all Club Class flight London City to New York

Despite the harshest trading environment airlines have experienced, British Airways is pressing ahead with its all-business class service from London City to New York commencing 29 September.

The service will be operated by an A318 aircraft with just 32 seats. The flight from London City to New York will stop en- route at Shannon to refuel however this stop will enable passengers to clear US Customs and Immigration procedures in advance of arriving at New York.

The return flight from New York JFK will fly non-stop to London City Airport. Passengers will be able to send and receive texts in flight.

The services will carry the historic flight numbers BA001 and BA002 and are scheduled to operate daily except Saturday, with twice daily services set to commence from mid October.
