Aer Lingus launches new flights to Europe from Gatwick Airport
Aer Lingus has announced the addition of six new winter destinations from its London Gatwick base.New routes will include flights to Bucharest, Eindhoven, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Warsaw and Vilnius. The routes are in addition to the current services from Gatwick to Dublin, Faro, Knock, Malaga, Munich, Vienna, Nice and Zurich. The service to Nice will not operate during the winter months.
London Gatwick Airport is the first international base for Aer Lingus outside of Ireland. The airline commenced operations from Gatwick South Terminal in April and has since sold 400,000 seats.
Aer Lingus flights to Europe are "no frills" so charges are made for checking in bags and in flight refreshments.
