British Airways launches new flights to Maldives and Sharm El Sheikh
British Airways is to fly direct from London Gatwick to both Male in the Maldives and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt from 25 October 2009.Flights to Maldives will depart Gatwick on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 7.10pm, returning from Male on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 1.20pm local time.
Fights to Sharm El Sheik will depart Gatwick on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 10pm, returning on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 11.00am local time.
Both routes will be operated by Boeing 777 aircraft with World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World cabins.
