Etihad Airways unveil new luxury First Class cabin

Etihad Airways, the Abu Dhabi based airline, claims to have redefined luxury air travel even further with the unveiling of its new US$70m First Class cabin suite.

Each aircraft will have 12 of the new individual suites, with an extra large seat that extends to a fully flat bed 80.5 inches long.

The suite comes with a personal wardrobe and mini bar plus a 23-inch LCD screen and privacy is assured with its own sliding door.

Meals are served on an extra large table and a middle seat divider can be lowered to allow a dining space for up to four people.

The First Class cabin also features a large and luxurious changing room with a full length mirror, a new style wash basin and leather fold-down seat however unlike its Dubai based rival, no in-flight showers.
