British Airways revises baggage acceptance times at Terminal 5
With immediate effect British Airways has revised the baggage accceptance times at Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport, for all UK Domestic and Shorthaul flights.Until now the maximum time for bags to be accepted before flight departure has been just 2 hours. Passengers travelling from Terminal 5 can now check-in their bags, at the Fast Bag drop desk, 3 hours before the flight departure up to 45 minutes prior to flight departure.
To help keep delays to a minumum and ensure flights leave on time, passengers must pass through security no less than 35 minutes before the flight is due to depart.
Passengers travelling in First, Club World, Club Europe and Gold/Silver members of the BA Executive Club can continue to drop their bags at any time on day of departure, up to 45 minutes prior to their flight departure.
